The Key Stage Curriculum for Pre Prep Children.

Our Pre Prep class prepares children for the next stage of their education. The emphasis of teaching is on English, Maths and Science - the three core subjects. The weekly timetable includes many practical activities as well as the written academic work. The teaching programme is planned to more than satisfy the demands of the National Curriculum.

A cross curricular approach is maintained for the benefit of project work with the opportunity of the literacy hour and numeracy hour while introducing history, geography, art and design technology and drama.

French, music, and sports are likewise an important part of an all round education, and taught by specialist teachers, to encourages the talents and personality of each individual. We are fortunate in having extensive playing fields on site.

We believe in making each learning area as interesting and as practical as possible so that excellent progress can be made in our groups of enthusiastic highly motivated children.
