South Hills School

A Poem by Alex Stagg (aged 7)

South Hills School is so great!

I started the school in 1998.

Way back then I was just a baby,

With nappies, a do-do and a teddy maybe.

My memories are great of this lovely place

The teachers, the animals, a smile on my face.

The Loft class, the Pre-Prep, the Barn and the Dairy,

I've been in them all and had music with Mary.

You taught me to read, to write and to run,

I've learnt all I know, and had so much fun.

A Narrator, the Piper, Dr. Who and a Fox,

I've been them all and enjoyed it .... LOTS!

We dug the pond in my final year,

Which I hope will give pleasure to all who come here.

Now I'm seven and leaving my friends,

My time at South Hills has come to an end.

I'll be very sad and I'll cry a few tears,

As I'm leaving behind my past 7 years.

But Mrs. Proctor, I thank you. It has been a pleasure.

And the memories in my head will last for ever.
